Beatles, metal vs classic

Out of these two versions, I definitely prefer the classic. I love The Beatles and this is one of my favorite songs by them. When I hear any versions of a song that is so classic in my mind, I instantly think of them as cheap imitations of the real thing. Because of this, I will always prefer the original over any covers.

I also believe that the original version was more aesthetically pleasing than the metal version. The sad mood that this song is based on does not translate well in a heavy metal playing style. Also, the sounds made by the non distorted string instruments and the voices in The Beatles' version were smoother and easier on the ear.
